Suwannee River Australian Shepherds was established in 1997. These wonderful dogs are a pleasure to have on the farm and in your home, and are a joy for the whole family. 
Their versatility makes them an all around great family dog. They can be used to guard the children, trail a scent whether it is human or animal. They are excellent for herding all manner of livestock on the farm, including geese, ducks, sheep, goats, or cows. They are extremely smart and need companionship. This dog is not a good choice if you want a dog to put in the back yard and ignore. It craves a companion. Their goal is to learn everything that you can possibly teach them! Your aussie wants to be at your side day and night.

Aussies are great fun for the whole family! Haku likes a bath with the children. 
She just jumped right in when she saw the kids were having too much fun without her! My aussies like water. They like to go canoeing, boating and fishing with me and love to go to the river.
